Congratulations on making it through the first part of this course. If this is your first programming course, you may feel a little overwhelmed. That’s okay. You’re learning how to program, how to program in Dart, the Flutter Framework and even Visual Studio. Needless to say, it will come in time. You just have to be patient and make tons of mistakes.
If you are already a developer, then I’m sure Flutter and Dart may seem a little weird, but once you get used to both of them, you’ll discover this is a fun development environment. You’ll be able to rapidly produce apps that you can ship on both iOS and Android.
So this part started a little slow - you learned about Flutter and how to install it. You then learned how to create a new Flutter project and then how to add some widgets to the screen.
But that’s just the beginning in the next part, you’ll dive deep into widgets. You’ll learn how Flutter uses them and then you’ll add a bunch of new widgets to create the basics of your app. So take a break and I’ll catch you in the next part.
