Transcript: 16. Introduction

In the first part of the course, you learned how to use Xcode to publish your app to the App Store. That’s great, but there’s more to publishing your app!

What exactly is the App Store review process? Well, some might say that’s a moving target, but there are some rules and regulations that your app must obey to be allowed on the store and you’ll learn about some of them, and where to find information on the rest.

Rejections happen to everyone, but don’t let that get you down. You’ll learn how to handle rejections, and also what you can do before you release to keep your chance of rejection to a minimum.

You’ll take another look at submitting your app through Xcode, and some tips and tricks that will help you along the way.

Once your app is out in the world, you can generate promo codes to help potential users and websites review your app, which is great especially if your app isn’t free.

OK, let’s dive into the App release process with the eternal question - what is the App Store review process? We’ll tackle that question in the next episode.
