Transcript: 15. Conclusion

Congrats! You’ve made it through the second part of this course, and it was jammed pack with all sorts of “make sure your app is ready for world” info! Let’s recap.

You spent some time learning about the fact that the App Store isn’t the only way to get your app out there! Internal distribution methods such as Ad Hoc distribution, which can be used for testing,

and unlisted apps in the App Store, which let you narrow your app audience, can both be used to keep your app’s audience to the size you want.

However, when you’re ready to really get into testing, TestFlight is there for you. You can have thousands of users put your app through its paces to squash any last minute bugs before it goes public.

So, you’ve gotten feedback from your testers, implemented some fixes, and the TestFlight reports seem to be decreasing in number. That means you’re ready to release it to the App Store. You’ll learn about that, how to deal with rejections, and more, in the next part of the course. So, take a break, and when you’re ready to continue, meet me at the next episode.
