Your First Flutter App: Polishing the App

Well - that was certainly a comprehensive part. We just took a app that by all effects looked pretty plain and we styled into something rather sharp. When you started this part, you got an overview about the difference between material and Cupertino widgets.

Then, you learned how to incorporate images into your app. After which, you added some new styles to customize your text. You then learned about the process of styling buttons. We wrapped up this part with styling the slider. You first wrote some code to style the slider and then to customize the Slider’s thumb.

Wow - that was a lot of information but the app is looking really good now. It’s almost ready to ship. Almost! You still have things left to do which will cover in the final part of this course. So take a break and meet me in part four.
