Transcript: 19. Introduction

So far you’ve been doing a great job creating a new app, but unfortunately, the app itself looks a little bland and by a little bland, I mean, a lot bland. It’s time to make this app pop. That bring us to our Todo list.

In the last part, we were working on our start over button, and we just wrapped it up!

We have a full functioning game now. Except, it’s kind of an eyesore. In this part, we’re going to upgrade the app to make it look pretty. And in doing so, you’ll learn how to style your Flutter apps.

You’ll get started by a quick overview of the different types of widgets.

Then you’ll add images to your app to make your interface look great. Once that is complete,

you’ll create some new text styles and style your text.

Then you’ll get busy styling buttons.

Then comes the slider. This is actually somewhat complex. You’ll learn how to style the slider after which,

you’ll learn how to style the actual slider’s thumb.

So there’s a lot to do, so lets get busy by doing some styling.
