Update Notes: This course was originally recorded in 2019. It has been reviewed and all content and materials updated as of October 2021.
Congratulations! You’ve hit the end of this part, and the course. You learned a ton of new Swift concepts and practiced using all sorts of language features. So, where can you go from here?
At this point, you’ve picked up enough Swift knowledge to move onto many of our other courses and get back to developing your app-building skills.
So, I highly recommend you finish up this learning path with Your Second iOS and SwiftUI App. You’ll get back into building an app with SwiftUI and you’ll learn more foundational concepts like how to present data in lists, navigate between views, and manage data flow along the way.
But, if you really, really want to learn more advanced Swift skills, right now, I understand. And, we have a series of short, advanced Swift courses for you!
I do also highly recommend our book, Swift Apprentice. Some of the material from this course, and the Fundamentals course, was based on that book! It also goes into some more details and covers many more advanced topics that I haven’t covered here.
That’s all I’ve got! I hope you had fun learning about functions and types in Swift! Thanks so much for joining me, and I’ll see ya next time :]
