iOS Feature Implementation Using AI

Hello and welcome to “iOS Feature Implementation Using AI” module. My name is Ehab Amer, and I’ll be your instructor for this module. In the previous one, you worked with Felipe to write a plan for the usage insights feature in your Tokens Dashboard iOS app.

This plan had information on how the feature should work, the UI, what to do and what not to do, etc. Here, you’ll perform final steps to implement this plan, break it down into tasks, figure out if some tasks can be implemented in parallel or not, even have multiple agents implement it. And in lessons two and three, you’ll revise what has been implemented to see what broke, if the implementation is correct or not, and write audits on all of that.

You’d be surprised on how often AI agents can make mistakes. The worst part is that they do it with confidence. Your involvement to review major milestones before they’re executed can make a world of a difference. One way is to just tell the agent, “Build this feature.” And another way is to document and iterate on this documentation on what will be implemented and how. The final results will look different and future bugs will be much easier to identify, understand, and fix.
