Transcript: 32. Distribute Your App

Throughout this entire course, we’ve been working through our programming checklist and congratulations,

we’ve made it to the very last one. It’s time to distribute your app on an official app store. Now keep in mind, both Google and Apple’s app store requires you to pay for a developer account so if you aren’t planning to distribute the app, you may just want to skip to the end of this course. Still there is value in seeing all the hoops you will later have to jump through. And trust me, there’s a lot.

One other thing to note, if you are following along with me in either of the episodes, you’ll need to get a little creative. Both app stores do not appreciate duplicates for obvious reasons, so you’ll need to provide your own name and screenshots as well as technical details such as Bundle Names. Otherwise, your app won’t make it through the submission process.

Okay, with all that said, let’s get started on our last todo list item but pushing our app to an app store.
