Your First Kotlin Android App: Polishing the App

Congratulations!!! You did it!!! Not only did you complete your first Android app, you completed your first polished app.

Its amazing to think that just a few episodes ago, you started with the app in the upper-left and now you have a nice and polished app that you can see in the bottom-right.

Now take a look at the progress: You’ve checked off all items on your programming todo list. That’s great progress. You’ve learned a ton of stuff in this course and you should feel proud of yourself. Now, some of the concepts we covered might not be 100% clear to you if you’re new to programming and that’s okay.

You can always go back and rewatch the episodes. And rememeber to always try practicing by writing some codes. With constant repetition, research and practice, things will become clearer.

Congratulations once again but the learning isn’t done yet.

Here, we switch gears and take a deep dive into the Kotlin programming language itself. By the time you’re done, you’ll have a firmer understanding of the syntax of Kotlin, and you’ll be ready to get back to making your second Android app, and beyond.

Okay!!! Go show off your app, relax a bit, celebrate your accomplishment of making your first Android app. You could even pitch your app to some silicon valley investors. Just do whatever you do when you get something off your bucket list.
