This marks the end of the first part on Saving Data in iOS!

Hopefully you’re starting to feel confident in your knowledge Swift’s Foundation Data, data types, URLs, and saving and loading data using Swift!

These topics lay the foundation for most everything you’ll need to do to save data on Apple platforms! It’s also starting to prove really helpful in getting rid of the “Forgetful Felipe” nickname, but there’s still work to do.

Now, Swift 4 brought us a really powerful Encoding and Decoding system, based around the Codable protocol. Because of all that, you’ll be able to get started working with JSON and Property Lists really quickly.

They’re both, relatively simple, modern solutions for saving your data., and they will help you in the next part where you’ll store reminders data in your SwiftUI application. See ya there!
