Kodeco is seeking a full-time Technical Content Manager (TCM) for iOS to build the future of learning!

Summary

Kodeco is seeking a full-time Technical Content Manager (TCM) for iOS to join its content team. Reporting to the Head of Content, this highly visible and learner-focused role is responsible for the ideation, curation, and implementation of educational content as well as related products, focusing on iOS app development.

The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of iOS app development, an interest in all things iOS, and a passion for how technical concepts are taught.

Responsibilities

Curation, research, and strategy

  • Conduct ongoing competency research and competitor analysis in the subject area of iOS app development
  • Assess and align learner needs with content development to continuously improve the the learning experience
  • Create, curate, and scaffold iOS multimodal content to support learner outcomes

Content creators management

  • Lead and advise the external team of iOS content creators, also known as the “iOS Team”, on assigned projects as well as topics including
    • Competency-based content planning, curation, and development at Kodeco
    • Top industry trends relevant to iOS developers at different experience levels
    • Adult learning theory, instructional design, competency-based learning
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for iOS content creators new to the iOS Team
  • Facilitate monthly discussions with the iOS Technical Advisory Panel, which is a subgroup of the iOS Team, to gather and leverage multiple perspectives on iOS competencies

Project management and planning

  • Collaborate with the internal team of operations managers to support the planning, staffing, curriculum development, launch, and retrospective of
    • Bootcamps and workshops
    • Projects that showcase books, articles, videos, or a combination of modalities
    • Projects that showcase a new content or learning feature in the Kodeco platform
  • Serve as an iOS subject matter expert and learner advocate during content planning, focusing on top trends, related topics such as macOS and server-side Swift, and learner needs and pain points
    • Minimum 2 years of experience working directly with iOS
  • Handle incoming requests from other teams, including sales, marketing, member experience, product, and engineering, about iOS content in the Kodeco library
  • Respond to bootcamp mentors and students questions about the iOS curriculum
  • Collaborate with the Head of Community on content curation for professional development seminars

As needed

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of experience technical project or content management
  • Working knowledge of foundational concepts and top trends in iOS development
  • Experience in leading and advising teams of content creator and subject matter experts
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, staff, communicate, and track cross-team efforts

Desired

  • Working knowledge of iOS related topics such as macOS and server-side Swift
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, and competency-based learning
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills in the virtual space
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Comfortable with prototyping and iterating on complex content production processes
  • Familiarity with bootcamp and workshop operations or experience as a bootcamp graduate
